„Between a bar and a dance floor, red velvet and desk phones – in “Eine kleine Sehnsucht” ( “A Little Longing”), a group of singles and long-time couples, willing to dance and quarrel – each with their own little yearning – gets lost in a strange dance hall. In texts by Kästner, Tucholsky, Charms and others, songs of the thirties and passionate tango music unfolds a laconic-tingling, almost snappy evening full of poetry, dance, confrontations and reveries…“

Ispasión Productions & Artists collaborate with the Staatsoper Berlin in the conception and creation of this interesting project “ Eine kleine Sehsucht“, providing the choreographers of the piece as well as the tango-soloist dancers.
