SPANISH DREAM

“Strong, temperamental, graceful and very emotional”

THE SHOW

A show of Spanish and Flamenco dance, with a passionate and technical interpretation that fully shows the roots of flamenco and the influences of other Mediterranean gypsy cultures on Spanish classical dance itself.

The show highlights the color and showiness of the choreographies, the striking and strong contrast between the role of men and women in these inbred and traditional cultures:

Plasticity in the sinuous, curved and subtle movements of the dancers, which reproduce the femininity and eroticism of women, in contrast to the geometric, powerful and elegant movements that symbolize the virility and strength of men.

Women dressed in spectacular dresses in front of bullfighting men proud of their lineage, under an impressive pas-de-deux, make up a spectacular symbiotic dance in which outbursts and passion merge.

Live percussion prevails throughout the show, as well as the fascinating sound of castanets in harmony with the music and the strong playful tapping that fights a cappella and in counterpoint to the rhythms of the music.

To all this is added the atmosphere of a winery, a bullfight and picturesque Spanish landscapes, through the projection of a video in which Ispasión recreates the artistic imagery of Spain in a spectacular setting.
